Volcano

I had read that the European Space Agency's Venus Express orbiter has picked up data saying that Venus may still have some volcanic activity. I can confirm that Venus does indeed still have volcanic activity merely by looking out my window, where I am treated to the sight of the yellow carbon rich clouds which come billowing out of the volcanoes far off on the horizon. It is truly an awe-inspiring sight, one that I never tire of, as it serves to remind me that I am the only living creature on an alien world.
On the other hand, it also reminds me that I have to live with the threat of being killed by a volcanic eruption. Naturally, when I was choosing a location for my dome, I went to some pains to ensure that there weren't any nearby volcanoes, and I designed the dome to be able to withstand a volcanic eruption. Still, one can never be too sure.
Anyway, the article is here.

First Blog Post From Venus

Well, It took long enough, but I finally managed to connect my biodome to the internet. Building the satellite was not particularly difficult and setting up the connection and all of that other whatnot wasn't particularly difficult to do, it was just trying to find the time to do it, what with all of my other projects that I'm working on.

Anyway, I have a blog now.
